The kids always go to bed with anticipation for Easter morning, to see what the Easter Bunny hid in the night, but Easter is so much more than a few colored eggs and chocolates.
I know that my Heavenly Father lives and that he loves each of us, his children. I know that my Savior Jesus Christ came to this earth that he might suffer for each of our sins, and bear the weight of all the mistakes and pain in this world. I know that he subjected himself to the will of our Heavenly Father and died for us, that we all might live again. I know that he arose on the third day and that because he overcame the world, and overcame death we can too. As we have faith in our Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ, and as we live and partake of the blessing of the atonement that Jesus gave to each of us. Easter is far more than the Easter Bunny, it is a celebration of Jesus Christ and that he lives!
