I love going to the Rodeo. I have only been to one before this one. On March 6, 2010 there was a rodeo on Fort Huachuca, so we went. Summer and I wore our new cowboy boots, rounded up our kids, and went to see a bunch of cowboys ride.
My favorite event is steer roping. I am amazed by their athleticism. This is how it works; they let a steer out of the gate, a team of two guys on horses chase after him and need to rope him. The first guy sends a rope sailing over the horns of the steer while his partner has to do an underhand rope to the steers back hoof. Yeah, that's right, the back foot. Amazing!

We established this Blog to serve as a Lighthouse for our family. Just as a Lighthouse lights the way for ships to safely reach their destination, this Blog will remind us of our overall goal to return as a family to the presence of our Heavenly Father.
