Every year, on Christmas Eve, the Summers Family gets together for a wonderful Christmas party. It is one of the biggest events that we look forward to each year. We love being able to spend time with the family that we don't get to see, except this one time a year. This year many of our family came in from out of state so we had to hold the party at the church. There was no way we would have been able to fit at Grandpa and Grandma's house. Over 80 people came.

Each year the Grandchildren dress up and reenact the Nativity Scene. A narrator reads from the scriptures and we all sing Christmas songs that coincide with the narration. This is a tradition that has been ongoing since Summer was a child participating in the Nativity.
This year Analeigh played the Baby Jesus while Aiden and Erik were Wisemen.

Each year we have a "family talent show," for lack of a better word. Each of the Brother's and Sister's Families in the Summers family take turns. A family member gets in front of everyone and performs their talent.
Andrew singing his song from the Operetta while Samantha "helps".
Papa, Jentry, and Aiden listening to my cousin Ryan (Uncle Robert's oldest son) playing the piano in the background. Ryan is leaving for his mission soon and wanted to play Grandpa's favorite song for him "Clair de Lune".
Emma (Uncle Robert's 2nd daughter), singing a song that she and her sister Katelyn wrote. Katelyn is playing the piano.
Heidi and Adi (Uncle Gordon's Daughter-in-law and Granddaughter) singing "I Am a Child of God."
Chelsea and Taylor (Uncle John's children) have been playing the violin since they were no more than 4 or 5.
Aunt Lori with her accordion. We all get a kick out of watching her play.
Andrew and his Dad Richard (Aunt Lori's Family). He has a wonderful voice.
Jennica, Becca, and McKenna.
