Aiden is team is the Grasshoppers this year. He loves soccer! He has had two games, and has done really well. His team is supposed to have 8 players but at both games only 5 or 6 have shown up. His last game he played the whole time and was so tired and hot by the end. He did make some very good plays while on the pitch. Towards the end of his last game he was playing defense which is pretty much the goalie, but at his age they don't have keepers. The other team had a very good player. Everyone thought she was 10, not 7. She was going straight for the goal. She was within 6 feet of the goal and it was only her and Aiden left. She had made it past the rest of the team when Aiden kicked it right out from under her. It was awesome! A very proud moment for us. Because she had already scored 4 goals in the game and my son kept her from scoring the 5th. He was so excited. I was so mad at myself for not having the camera out and ready. I suppose that is the way it goes.

His coach can be pretty tough, but then he also has teaching moments where he is great. Here he is teaching Aiden how to do a throw in.
Playing all four, 12 minute quarters really takes it out of a little kid. He did a great job!
