We put up our Christmas tree on the Sunday following Thanksgiving. The kids had so much fun. I just love to see the excitement in their eyes! We played Christmas music and made all kinds of messes. Aiden and Erik helped Ryan put the tree together this year. Usually they just hand him the branches as he puts them on the tree. However, this year Aiden and Erik spread the bristles out on the branches and then placed them on the tree themselves. I can't believe how big they are getting. Emmitt just watched and Analeigh tried to help with everything, though she really just liked making more messes.
We are so blessed to have such wonderful kids. Sister Ray (a great great lady in our ward) said in her testimony on Sunday that "having children is the best thing she ever did with her life." It was something her mother had told her, and I have to agree. There are plenty of fun and exciting things to take up our time while we are here on earth, but I can't imagine anything giving me more happiness and love then my four beautiful children. Ryan is a really GREAT bonus too!
This year Aiden and Erik made wishlists to send to Santa. I think they cut out every possible toy in every ad we got! They had a lot of fun doing it too:)
