I just love when kids start to want to feed themselves. Well I guess it is more a love-hate relationship. I love how cute the kids look doing it, but hate how big the mess is to clean up. Here we have cute little Emmitt feeding himself his oatmeal. When I tried to feed him he would take it out of his mouth and throw it on the floor. I figured might as well skip the middle man and let him throw it on the floor straight from the bowl.
Surprisingly enough the majority of the food did make it into his mouth, and Emmitt has never been happier.
