Fall Leaves

Ryan and I wanted to take the time to go up in the mountains with the kids and have some fun in the leaves before it was too late.  We took a drive up Knightsville to have a romp around.  I am so happy that we spent just a couple hours out of our Saturday morning to do this.  The kids had so much fun and want to go back camping as soon as possible.Aiden, Erik, Analeigh, and Emmitt.  I couldn't be a happier mom!

Seems like it should be colder outside considering it is the middle of October and we have already had snow.  Still it has warmed up and made it quite pleasant.
Collecting leaves is probably one of the things I remember most about growing up.  I am not sure what makes it so fun but the boys enjoyed it just as much as I did when I was little.

Looking out over the valley.  Beyond those mountains would be the Utah Valley.

I remember one Sunday afternoon, when I was little piling into the back of my Dad's "rainbow truck" (we called it that because it was so many different colors).  Dad took our family and my friend Tiffany Laird out on the dirt roads in Eureka and we sat in the back. I remember pulling thousands and thousands of leaves off the trees as we passed and piled them up in the back of the truck with us. Now I think "what a mess!" When I was little though I thought it was the coolest thing in the world and one of my fondest memories of the fall.
