This Year for Mother's Day Ryan was out of town so I was just me and the kiddos. I was really worried about how I would feel, thinking I may get a "poor me" attitude. It turned out to be an amazing experience. I love being a mom and I am so lucky to have such wonderful kids. They each made me a little something. Aiden, Erik and Ani made me something at school and Aunt Michi helped Emmitt color a picture for me. All day long I remembered that my kids are the reason I even get to celebrate mother's day. I really enjoyed being able to spend the day with just them. I am sad that Ryan was unable to be around. However, I think that if he had been around it would almost not have meant as much. I know he would have taken care of the kids and everything to give me a day to relax, but I really do love caring for my children and taking the time to enjoy them. I am their mother after all and I am so blessed to have each and everyone of my children. I wouldn't want it any other way!
