Every year the Elks Lodge of Eureka puts together a Hoop Shoot for children age 8-14 to participate in. They give each participant two sets of 15 shots from the foul line for older kids and closer line for the younger. Whoever makes the most shots wins.
Aiden was not sure that he wanted to participate in the Hoop Shoot. He was extremely nervous about being in front of everyone and was concerned that he wouldn't do very well because he hasn't played any basketball. He decided to do it and I was extremely proud of him. He took 4th place out of his division and is excited to try again next year.
