Erik's 4th Birthday

It seems like only yesterday they placed Erik in Summer's arms at the hospital. Now he is 4 years old! He is such a fun little boy and he really is all boy. His best friend is his brother Aiden and a day doesn't go bye that he doesn't say that he love us. Though Erik is quieter and shyer than Aiden he is still just as fun and we wouldn't trade a second of any of it.

Erik picked what he wanted for his birthday cake. His request was chocolate with yellow frosting and "balls". He even gave the OK that the shade of yellow was good before decorating. He was so excited for his birthday to come.

Erik decided that for his birthday he only wanted Daddy, Aiden, and Emma to be there. So we had a small party with our friends the Gaylor's. The kids played the Wii while the adults talked.

Grandpa and Grandma drove down for the weekend as well.

Aiden is always just as excited as Erik when it comes to opening presents, even if it isn't his birthday.

Erik loves to play Dr. so for his birthday we got him a little "Dr. kit." He makes sure we are all healthy on a regular basis.

We love you Erik and are so proud of you and to have you as part of our family!

It was a long day for everyone. The kids fell asleep while Summer read them a book and then fell asleep herself.
