For Memorial Day weekend we planned a very large trip to Lake Powell with the whole family. All of the Despain's and Grimstead's came. There were over 50 of us camped at Lone Rock. The first 2 days were pretty miserable. The wind blew fiercely. Sand got into our tents, clothes and every other nook and cranny you could think of. Elise and Kyle lost their tent completely. Papa lost one of his Canopies, and one of Ben and Steph's tent polls broke. We thought the trip would be ending sooner than expected, but the wind stopped and it was beautiful. It was so good to see everyone, and we had fun together.
