This 4th of July was a bit gloomy in more ways than one. Not only was it overcast most of the time (which was actually nice so it wasn't so hot), but Grandpa Summers also passed away. He was in the hospital all night and passed just after 5am. It was and is so hard to see him go but I can't help but feel such joy for him and the thought that he is no longer suffering. His mission here on this earth is done. He did give very strick instructions that we were to continue the day happy and have fun. He didn't want anyone mourning. We did our best but we will still missed him.

Aunt Elise was sweet and rode the firetruck with Emmitt and Analeigh this year.

Here we see all the kids climbing on.

Gordon, Andrew, Erik, and Aiden

Casey, Candi and Canyon.

Aunt Jennica will be such a great mom! She already takes care of all her nieces and nephews.

Me and my Littlest Sis.

While we waited for all the fire trucks to arrive the fireman threw out candy...the kids didn't mind.

Emmitt loves to be tossed around.

Jon, Natalie, Karina, and Analeigh

Uncle Josh is Analeigh's Favorite!

Chandler is Emmitt's Favorite.

Jeanene, Haleigh, Josh, and Canyon.

Canyon and Candi, Elise and Kylise, Summer and Analeigh waiting to begin the sack race.

Mckenna, Gordon, Becca, and Erik all ready for their turn.

Ethan, Reece, and Aiden are next.

Time for the adults. Elise, Summer, Candi, and Pregnant Cherie!

Kylise and Analeigh aren't to sure about the three legged race.

Aiden and Haleigh teamed up for this one.

Erik was only willing to do the wheelbarrow race with Mommy:)

Bobbing for apples anyone?
This year they also had chickens again and both Analeigh and Aiden caught one. Although I filmed them so I will have to include them separately. They were both so excited and Analeigh was so careful but wouldn't let her chicken go for anything!
