In May of 2012 I had to go to Tennessee to receive my training to become a SERVPRO trainer. The headquarters are located about 30min northeast of Nashville in Gallatin. My training lasted 28 days with only a couple of days off. On one of those days I drove out to The Hermitage, the home of president Andrew Jackson. The home was very beautiful with original paint and wallpaper. They wouldn't let me take many pictures of the inside of the home. The grounds were very large with a lot of paths to walk. I wore a set of headphones that explained the different areas I visited.
Later I went and visited Nashville. I drove around a lot because there was so much to see. I decided to stop at the replica of Parthenon because they had free parking. The building is supposedly the exact size of the one in Greece. I really enjoy traveling and seeing new things, I just wish I could see more of these sights with my family. Someday I will bring them along on these trips.
