Halloween 2012! Ryan was out of town for work so me and the kids spent Halloween partying together. We began with the traditional Halloween Carnival at the Elementary school. The kids enjoyed winning prizes and treats at the cake walk, ring toss, duck pond, pin the nose on the Jack-o-Lantern among other things.
After the Carnival we went to the trunk-or-treat at the church followed by trick-or-treating down Papa's street and a few other special people in town.
Emmitt was an alien robot this year. He didn't want to wear his costume for anything. I finally had to tell him the only way to get candy was to wear the costume. When he finally understood that in the costume he received treats from others he was much more willing.
Analeigh decided she wanted to be a witch with a poofy skirt. She also wanted Mommy to be a witch with her and we also included Grandma. We had three generations of witches and I think we looked pretty cute. Especially my green little witch.
I was lucky when Erik and Aiden both decided they wanted to be things we already had costumes for. Erik was a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle and Aiden was a pirate. Most of both costumes were from Grandma Susy's garage sale's in Arizona.
Erik's favorite part of the night was dividing his candy between the stuff that he liked and the stuff that he didn't like which he then traded with Aiden.
