The fourth of July has come once again. The kids are always so excited! As always we waited for the fire truck at Papa's house. Wehad a few friends join us this year; Travis and Jenifer Fields with their kids Haydn and Braxten and Sam and Heidi Lewis and there little ones Reyn and Tanyth. Sam and Heidi are friends we met in Arizona. They recently moved to Utah and remembered how we always talked about how great the Eureka 4th of July celebrations are. They came up to see for themselves.
We all had a ball at the races and games though we didn't get any Chickens this year:)
As soon as we were finished at the school we went down to Mona Cemetery where Grandpa Summers is buried. It has been one year since he passed away and all of the family wanted to get together to talk and remember the wonderful life that Grandpa led. It is hard to see Grandmathese days. I know she misses Grandpa and her quality of life has gone down so much. She is here but she is not the same Grandma that she has always been. I am excited for when she will be able to be reunited with Grandpa again. I am so thankful for Eternal Families and I am forever grateful for Grandpa and Grandma who taught my mom, who in turn taught my Papa, and now we can have an eternal family!
Following the cemetery the daddies took the kids down to Burston ponds in Mona, a place we went to often growing up, to swim and fish. The kids had a great time and even the daddies had a little fun.
