The Annual Eureka Elementary School Operetta was held on December 20th. It was named "The Reindeer Decision" the premise of the Operetta was the mythical creatures were trying to replace flying reindeer with another creature. Each of the classes were a different creature.
Kindergarten: Flying Pigs
1st Grade: Cow's (that could jump over the moon)
2nd Grade: Magnificent Unicorns
3rd Grade: Magic Dragons
4th Grade: Reindeer
5th Grade: Flying Monkey's
I helped make the 1st grade and 2nd grade costumes which I think turned out adorable. All of the costumes were really well done this year.
The kids always have so much fun learning the song and dance for each of their classes. It is a tradition here in Eureka that has been going for over 100 years and I hope it never ends!
