UTAH!!!

We took a trip to Utah in October. It was probably the most important and significant out of all the many trips we have done. We were able to see so much of the family. I made a point of going to see Jordan's, Josh's, Cherie's, Michi's and Grandpa and Grandma Summers' families. People usually have to come to see us in Eureka because we are tired of driving.

One of the most important days was the first Saturday I was there. After driving all night by myself with the 4 kids (crazy I know) Candi, Casey, and I were able to go to the temple to perform LOTS of temple work for our Argentine ancestors. Thanks to Michi and Christopher who watched our kids!

The second Saturday in Utah I actually left and went to Boise. Candi had a Zumba training in Boise and so Me and Emmitt tagged along. It was nice to be able to see Cherie and Jon, Natalie and Karina. Cherie made awesome food of course and we even took some beautiful pictures of Emmitt in their studio. Thanks Cherie!!!

The other AMAZING day was the last Saturday we were in Utah when we were able to go to the temple to have Chris' work done. It has been a year since he passed and we are so grateful for the privilege of being able to be in attendance as Casey stood proxy for Chris (everyone else had other family names that Susy and Cherie prepared). We are so blessed to have the gospel in our lives!!!
After completing Chris' temple work we all went to his graveside to show our love, followed by eating lunch at Tucanos where we ate Dessert first!

Playing at Aunt Michi and Uncle Christopher's new beautiful house is one of the boys' new favorite things to do. I am glad they were able to spend time with the family when we were in Utah. It seems the time always goes so fast and there is never enough to do everything we want.

Dear sweet Nona with little Emmitt.

Girl's Day out!
I don't think that we have ever done a girls day out...at least not since I went away to basic training almost 10 years ago. We all wanted to spend some much needed quality time together without needing to worry about kids. Elise came out from Colorado just to spend sometime with us. We went out to lunch at Red Robin and to the Movies. The movie wasn't the greatest but hey at least we were able to be together. I miss my family and especially being closer to my sisters and mom. It reminds me not to take any of it for granted because not everyone has such an amazing family.

Giving Grandma Summers kisses!
As we were getting ready to leave Grandma hugged Ryan and Analeigh and started dancing around to her own music. I love my Grandma!
Grandpa wasn't feeling very well when we went to visit but we were able to get one picture with him and our sweet little Emmitt. Emmitt's middle name is Vaughn after Grandpa Summers.
Grandma loves to play games and not a visit goes by that we don't pull out Chinese Checkers or Rummikub.
Grandma sat for quite some time just holding and rocking Emmitt saying what a beautiful baby he was.

We went to Nephi to visit Uncle Jordan, Aunt Camille and their girls. They are only 45 minutes away from Eureka, but whenever we are in Utah it always seems we don't have time to see everyone. This time I promised myself I would. Jordan was the first of visits while in Utah. Yay!!! He has the cutest house in Nephi, and adorable little girls Samantha and Madaleigh. The boys loved playing the Wii with their cousins and Uncle!
Madi, Jordan and Camille's beautiful little girl!

Saying Good-bye to Grandma to return to Arizona is never an easy task. Still time cannot stand still, so it good-bye always comes. Someday we will be back in Utah near our family that we love so much!
